We leave the town proper about 9:30am and arrived the place around 10:00am.
After visiting on our two classmate around 1:00pm we decide to visit our another classmate who is located at Baluno Barangay, it takes about 30 minutes rides from Calvario Barangay to Baluno.It’s been years since i visit that place and it change a lot. before going home around 4:30pm we decided to have a picture taking for remembrance.

The crisis in Mindanao is grave. 

The situation on the ground has all the more deteriorated following the debacle on the Memorandum of Agreement on Ancestral Domain: the government’s ongoing punitive actions against elements of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front allegedly involved in attacks in Lanao and North Cotabato following the botched signing of the MOA-AD deal last August 5.

As usual, innocent civilians suffer the brunt of the hostilities while government has denied, if not ignored the gravity of the humanitarian crisis. The fact remains that there are now more than half a million people %u2013 internally displaced persons – who are bearing the burden of the ongoing armed conflict. The international community has affirmed this. This staggering figure does not even include the casualties of your combatants and the telling and long-term effects of the violence on our children and youth who are inheriting this country.

As we dread a catastrophic humanitarian situation, we would like to appeal to your Excellency, Madam President to immediately declare a suspension of military operations (SOMO) and allow the mechanisms on the ceasefire agreement with the MILF to work again in addressing culpability and bring to justice those found guilty of violations from the MILF side as your government allege. We ask this in the context of your own policy on the primacy of the peace process as contained in your Executive Order in 2003.

It similar with C++, all i thought ill be having a hard time teaching this subject. But anyway since im a FOSS Adovate ill be using a Netbeans  application on my class, well it similar with VB on MS but im having fun on netbeans IDE and learning more on java using this application, best of all the software is Free to download since it is an open source project of Sun Microsystem.

Actually i will only staying  here Isabela City till March because ill be moving already either in Cebu or Davao City. 
Aside from teaching here is some of my 2 projects that i have to accomplish by March:
1. Organizing FOSS@SCHOOL Mindanao Targeting Basilan
- As a Mindanao Coordinator of Computer Professionals’ Union (CPU) i will be organizing the 1st FOSS@SCHOOL in Basilan that would orient Students and some Educators about Free and Open Source Software. The event will be held at Claret College of Isabela and there will be an invited speaker who is expertise in FOSS. Event is posted on the website http://www.cpu-union.com 
2. Website for KFI Center for Community Development Foundation, Inc.
- I am also task to do website for KFI one of the NGO in Zambaonga. Off-course ill be using Content Management System – JOOMLA to do their site. Ill will post later my design on this blog.

  • For non-Philippine applicants, TEMPORARY airline bookings/itinerary with estimated ECONOMY/BUDGET roundtrip air ticket cost. Preferred arrival in Manila, Philippines on 03 November (Monday) and departure on 07 November 2008 (Friday).
