On the morning session was an overview of content management system, Drupal , Joomla and wordpress. And in the afternoon session is more on a hands-on training was participated by students with actual Drupal installations.

The event is support by the Drupal Association and Mozilla.  And watch out there are still more Drupal Camp 3D event, which is supported also by Drupal Association and Mozilla.

Once again, the Computer Professional’s Union organized a Drupal Camp 3D  hosted by Technological Institute of the Philippines – Cubao on January 24 , 2012.  Sessions like,Introduction to CMS, types of CMS going to Drupal 1-2-3, are for those who are starting with Drupal. This is a guided installation and configuration of Drupal for beginners and students.

Well I’ve one of the speaker during the event for the Introduction of  CMS and talking about Mozilla, Since the firefox is there official browser during the event.

Leaded by Mr. Ellis Marc Calisang who is also a student of STI College Zamboanga. I have the opportunity to join them, since i was already in Zamboanga City and shared my experience as a Mozilla Representative. I was also surprise the group is compose of different school in Zamboanga City like STI College Zamboanga, Western Mindanao Cooperative College, Universidad De Zamboanga, and Western Mindanao State University, who are willing to contribute to the community.

during our discussion, they will conduct a yearly project and recruit for more members to join and contribute some project like localization, design etc. to conclude the meetup it was a success.

as for the moment they created a social network group in facebook for colaboration.

Typhoon Sendong (international codename: Washi) whacked Northern Mindanao, Philippines, letting loose colossal floods across vast areas that left, according to official tally, 278 people dead (and still counting) and nearly 200 others missing in the cities of Cagayan de Oro and Iligan, and in some towns of Misamis Oriental.


Thousands are in the evacuation centers, many are women and childen–hungry, chilling, crying.
