The Mozilla webmaker party at Olivarez College Tagaytay is a success last September 5, 2014. Which was attended by different department from Olivarez College Tagaytay at Computer Laboratory 2. Since they only have 20 system units on their laboratory they created a two batches of participants, one in the morning and the other is in the afternoon. The event discussion is about Introduction Mozilla which was discuss by Me, The second lecturer discussed and demo “Thimble” by Mr. Ian Mark Martin and lastly Mr. Leo Caisip which discussed about “Popcorn Maker“, Both attended the Mozilla PH orientation for web maker mentor last August 16, 2014 at Mozilla Community Space Manila. The event ended at exactly 4:00pm as mostly in afternoon participated by the nursing department.
We also distributed some Mozilla Swag (Bollard, Mozilla Sticker, Mozilla Tatoos and Mozilla Pins) for participants after the event. As part of the successfull event, based on their survey they are requesting for another event semilar to this. but internet on the school is not that stable during that day but still we managed to make the event successfull.

After a long leave as a Remo because of relocating from different location in Philippines, Finally I organized again an event which is Introduction to Mozilla at Olivarez College (OC) Tagaytay as the first event in OC Tagaytay which was also a successful one, last Friday (August 29, 2014) wherein I talk more about Mozilla, Product and presence in the Philippines.The event started at 2:00pm in the afternoon and mostly participants are from the different department in Olivarez College Tagaytay but 40% from the crowd are from the IT Department and this is also one of their kick-off event before Software Freedom Day 2014 which will be on September 27, 2014. As another objectives of this event, was to create a FSA chapter in their school wherein it is also a successful one as they are willing to create one in their school. The event ended around 4:00pm with group picture taking.

After receiving my Keon mobile phone, Im trying to test some data packet connection using different network. Since the mobile phone model is not from Philippines, there is no current settings to download on network. But it can set manually under Cellular & Data > Advance settings > Data Settings all you need to fill up is the APN to function the data packet connection. Below are the settings for APN from different network.

Finally arrived just this morning via UPS delivery… My new gadget to play with, the Firefox OS Developer Phone KEON.
