It’s been a month figuring out how to appear my PR-Page Rank on my site and it always shows ” N/A” as the result when i use the google PR checker. Finally i stumble on this cool plugin on wordpress called Google XML Sitemaps just installed it, activate it and create and XML sitemap for you site. Automatically when you check your PR it will appear instead of “N/A”.
Google XML Sitemaps will generate a sitemaps.org compatible sitemap of your WordPress blog which is supported by Ask.com, Google, MSN Search and YAHOO. Unlike “Dagon Design Sitemap Generator” above, this plugin wil generate a xml file which can be submitted to search engine directly. There’s even function in the plugin itself to update the sitemap and ping Yahoo and Google everytime you write and publsh a new post. You can see it live on my XML sitemap here.
Contact form on WordPress
Published November 4, 2009 | Figuring how to create a contact form on wordpress. Well its easy i just installed a plugin called Fast and Secure Contact Form By Mike Challis Version 1.8.1 and activate it. Once activated, you will need to create a pages called contact. Go to Pages > Add New > Name it Contact and put this shortcode on content si_contact_form inside [ ] then publish it.
Flash Tag Cloud on WordPress
Published November 3, 2009 | For those who want to use a flash tag cloud for your wordpress site and blog you can download the WP-Cumulus Plugin Version 1.22 By Roy Tanck. I’m using it on my wordpress version 2.8.4 and it works fine.

Import Blogspot content to your wordpress
Published October 25, 2009 | My previous blog is on blogger (http://rjian.blogspot.com)and all content are there, when my friend give me this domain and hosting i have to migrate my content on blogger to wordpress. Upon exploring wordpress and searching article on the net for migrating all content on blogger going to wordpress, you don’t need to have a plugin installed on it just to transfer your content. Well here’s a simple step how to migrate your content on blogger going to wordpress.
1. Login your admin wordpress account /wp-admin .
2. On admin go to tools>Import .
3. From the import you will have to choose blogger then follow instructions.
4. Then after the loading, your blogger content has successful transfer including the comments.
